Casting student short film.
Synopsis: Ivy and Damien, a couple on the brink of their relationship break up, argue fiercely one spring afternoon over something seemingly small. During their argument, all hell breaks loose; nuclear war breaks out. The couple is forced to go into hiding in a grey, cold shelter, where their fears and frustrations are amid the chaos. Fuse is a short psychological drama where themes of isolation, modern relationships, and self-destruction take centre stage; an exploration of the human condition.
Shooting days: 15th, 16th & 17th of May (subject to change) in Breda.
Travel expenses covered and catering provided. The film will be screened at a student film festival and we offer something extra at the end of the project. And because we are first-year students, there is a good chance we will contact you for future AV projects.

Ivy is seen as a caring and loyal woman. But years of psychological manipulation by Damien have left her insecure, anxious, dependent, and obsessive. She has had to give up her career and opportunities as a result. Ivy is at a point where she wants nothing but freedom and to be separate from Damien.
ROLE: Damien

Damien holds a high position in his management job; he is strict, bossy, and insensitive to others. He is frowned upon by his work colleagues which reinforces his inferiority complex, the frustration he takes out on Ivy. Even though Ivy wants to be separate from him, he does his best to maintain control over her.
