about the project

BBC Bitesize & Particle 6 – Casting Call Particle6 is a multi award-winning production company operating completely remotely around the world. Our style is bold, colourful and loud.

We are looking for 3 actors to join us for an exciting new educational series surrounding the German language.

The project: 10 x 4 minute films. For GCSE students – to learn essential vocabulary and grammar for the GCSE German curriculum 2 vloggers from England visit their friend in Frankfurt, to improve their German and showcase the city in their vlogs.

Using the fast paced cuts and attention grabbing graphics to create vlog style videos, this series showcases German language and culture in an entertaining set of videos.

Filming in Early December in Frankfurt, approximately 5 days filming. Paid role.

Strongly advise diverse suggestions. 

We are looking to fill the following roles:
role 1 | actors | male
playing age: 18 - 28
role languages: English/German
MALIK - to play an English (must have a British accent) vlogger visiting Germany, must confidently speak German as the grammar sections of the film need to be 100% correct.

Standard Equity pay - 150£ a day.
Filming in Frankfurt, approximately 5 days filming - 5th-12th of December.
We provide accommodation and travel expenses. Usage - 10 episodes, 4 minutes long each.
role 2 | actors | female
playing age: 18 - 24
role languages: English/German
TINA - to play an English (must have a British accent) vlogger visiting Germany, must confidently speak German as the grammar sections of the film need to be 100% correct.

HANS - a German native, ideally with a regional German accent - to play Tina's and Malik's German friend who teaches them the grammar and vocabulary they need for their vlogs. Comedy acting skills are a big plus.

Standard Equity pay - 150£ a day.
Filming in Frankfurt, approximately 5 days filming - 5th-12th of December.
