About
Marco Quille, playing ages 20 to 30, male.

When I first started acting, at around the age of 16, It was clear to me that I did not want to become an actor. My first acting experience was in a play - Alice in Wonderland- produced by my local theater company in which I played the white rabbit. The heart-wrenching anxiety that I felt whilst I was performing on stage was so visceral that it blew me out of character. To this day, I remember the relief I felt when the play was over. Yet, for the days and years that followed, the memory of that “rush” feeling that I felt whilst acting pushed me to keep pursuing it. Throughout my four years at my local theater company, I learned about the importance of physical gestures for the emotional life of the character and the projection of the voice for performance. In the following years, my curiosity for acting grew further and pushed me to take part in several trainings such as the summer bootcamp at Mountview in London  as well as  courses specifically for screen acting-  such as the acting on screen course of the Cours Florent- which culminated with a 1-year advanced diploma in screen acting in Brussels. There is something unique about acting in a film. Perhaps what I love the most, is the intimate relationship between the actor and the camera and the medium’s need for the actor to strongly rely on its inner imagery to live truthfully in the circumstances. The camera enables the actor to actively engage in the creative process rather than just function as a passive dreamer, bringing the world of the imagination to life on set. The training ultimately led me to take part in a dozen student short movie productions, including some produced by the SAE in Brussels, the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, The Geneva Cinema school and Paris’s International Film School (EICAR) amongst others. Thanks to these experiences I built a showreel and secured an agent which ultimately led me to my first professional performance, a bit part in the series “Love Me” directed by Emma Freeman and produced by Warner Bros.

Today, I am aware of the deeper forces at play that compel me to make art. Every cell in my body has the desire to lead an artistic life. I can feel it. I have caught the acting bug. I have to be an actor. It's my calling. It’s who I am. And because it is my calling I might as well become the best version of an actor that I possibly can. I want to be great. Create organic human behavior. I want to function from the full range of human experiences. to tell stories. To feel. To emote. To risk. To create. To share. To live life courageously and vulnerably as an artist.
