For a short student film, titled ”Ik zweet niet”, about mourning and loss.
Filming is due on 1,2 and 3rd of June 2022 in Utrecht/Het Gooi.
Logline: Years after 31-year-old Robin cut off contact with her urban mother and moved to the countryside, she unwittingly inherits her mother’s Renault Twingo. She tries in various ways to get off the car but no fate seems worthy. Until the car is compromised and she realizes she cares more than she thought.

ROBIN (Lead role)
Robin leads an independent life in a small rural village. Robin grew up in the city and was largely raised by her mother, but her mother paid little attention to Robin's upbringing, which created a lot of tension at home. So Robin also decided to leave the city at the age of 18, without looking after her mother.

OSKAR (supporting role)
Oskar is the father of 18 year old Saar. He has lived all his life in a small rural village and had an easy life with his wife and daughter. When his wife passed away, he was left with only his daughter, car garage/car dealership and his online gambling websites. Oskar likes to hold on to these things and does everything he can to keep it, the world outside his village leaves him cold. What he has is good enough and should remain as it is.

He is clumsy and a wimp, but gentle and involved.
