Joining enCAST

Joining enCAST is free and very easy to do.

This article explains how to do that and answers common questions about the registration process.

Who can join enCAST?

Our site is open to anyone over the age of 16 (to read why, see here) involved in the film industry in Europe.

  1. Actors – of all levels of experience – based in Europe

  2. Casting Directors who work on projects in Europe

  3. Talent Agents with actors in Europe

Aside from that, we welcome anyone in the industry regardless of religion (or not), gender, sexuality, ethnicity, etc. We do not discriminate in any shape or form and anyone who does so is immediately removed from the site, no questions asked, forever.

How much does it cost?

It’s free to join enCAST and make a profile here.

There is also the option to subscribe to enCAST for increased exposure and further benefits.

To join enCAST

To join, first go to this page: https://encast.eu/join

You’ll see that this page is for ACTORS. If you are a CASTING DIRECTOR or TALENT AGENT, simply click on the correct link:

  1. Join enCAST as a CD: https://encast.eu/join/?type=cd

  2. Join enCAST as a Talent Agent: https://encast.eu/join/?type=agent

Then complete each of the fields:

  1. Username – this is NOT your real name or email address, but simply a username to log into the site; ideally make this one word without spaces, e.g. JoeBrown or MariaK, etc.

  2. Country – this can be easily changed later

  3. Email – always check this to make sure this is correct!

  4. Passsword & Repeat Password – this must be more than 5 characters long and include UPPERCASE, lowercase, and at least 1 number, e.g. joE27

Then click to accept the Terms & Conditions and click the Join enCAST button.

After you do this you will be logged into the site and see your homepage.

Troubleshooting

If you run into a problem when you try to join, please check the following:

  1. Make sure your username is unique – you might be asked to change it

  2. If your email is already registered on the site, you can’t use it to make another account; in this case simply login to the site

  3. ​Make sure your password is long enough and contains a number and both UPPERCASE & lowercase letters

If you join enCAST with the wrong sort of profile (e.g. you’re an Actor but you join with an Agent profile) then simply contact us and we can change this.
