Death of a Salesman is a two-act tragedy set in the late 1940s in Brooklyn, told through a montage of memories, dreams, and arguments of Willy Loman, a traveling salesman who is despondent with his life, and appears to be slipping into senility. The play addresses a variety of themes, such as the American Dream, the anatomy of truth, and infidelity.
FEST e.V. (the Frankfurt English Speaking Theatre), a non-profit amateur theatre group based in Frankfurt, Germany, is casting for it’s upcoming stage production of Arthur Miller’s ”Death of A Salesman”.
The production will be performed on two weekends, November 17, 18, 19 and December 1, 2 3, 2023 in Kulturhaus Frankfurt, Germany.
The production will be in English, therefore fluent English is required for the roles.
Rehearsals will be in Frankfurt, Germany beginning in June or July 2023. Therefore only actors local to Frankfurt are eligible to apply. The production is not able to offer accommodations or travel expenses.
