Casting short film titled "Blind Disbelief", a horror-romance fully funded by, and part of the curriculum of, MetFilm School Berlin.
Synopsis: The film follows 18-year-old best friends Matthew and Aaron on their journey to Berlin as they navigate their burgeoning feelings for each other amidst the vibrant backdrop of the city's queer scene. However, Aaron's Jewish heritage puts him in danger when he encounters a menacing Neo-Nazi figure, visible only to him. Despite Matthew's skepticism, their bond deepens amidst the uncertainty. As they explore Berlin's landmarks and share intimate moments, Aaron's sightings of the mysterious man intensify, testing their connection and resolve.
Shooting in Berlin from April 29th to May 14th, 2024.

Matthew (18) is an introverted young man from a small town. Organized and methodical, he finds comfort in structure and routine, meticulously planning his days. In high school, he forms a close bond with Aaron, an outgoing theater enthusiast. Matthew falls in love with Aaron's confidence and self-expression, hoping for mutual affection. Matthew meticulously plans their trip to Berlin with the goal to win Aaron's heart. However, when Aaron encounters a mysterious man that only he can see, Matthew's skepticism and concern strain their relationship, testing his attempts to bridge the growing gap between them.

Together, they plan a trip to Berlin. However, Aaron's joy is overshadowed by the appearance of a menacing Neo-Nazi figure visible only to him. Unsure if the threat is real or imagined, he confides in Matthew. However, Matthew's skepticism deepens their rift, jeopardizing not only their romance but also their friendship.
