For an ambitious 30 minute film expecting to shoot over 7 days in June, and destined to 2024 festivals.
The project tells the self-discovery story of Sanju, an immigrant from India to Poland in his early 20s. His occupation revolves around delivering food via an app similar to UberEats, etc. We are inclined to cast an actual young Indian professional actor with acting background/chops/experience and we’re ready to bring our search across some of the European countries.
Produced by Munk Studio (which functions within the structures of Polish Filmmakers Association since 2008 and was set up to focus exclusively on producing directorial debut films). The goal of the studio is to discover and support talented young directors in making creative, art-house cinema. Munk has an impressive track record, one of their recent 60-minutes features ”Bread and Salt” emerged victorious from a side section of Venice film festival 2022.
