about the project
Performer Callout - The Blanket Fort Club is on a mission to find two exceptional performing artists to work with us on our R&D this autumn and beyond for our brand new sensory immersive theatre show designed for all children and their grown-ups, touring in 2025.
R&D will be 21st-25th of October in South Yorkshire
Rehearsals in late January 2025 in Yorkshire
Opening performances from February 19th in Yorkshire before touring the UK (Later dates to be confirmed asap).
£600 per week or £175 per day for any additional work outside of full weeks.
Auditions, and the R&D will all take place in South Yorkshire. NB: no travel, accommodation or per diems can be covered for these.

Actors/Performers, m/f, 18 - 50, Yorkshire based.
We aim to find two Yorkshire based performers, diverse in ethnicity, gender and age, with excellent devising skills and keen to tour new work. You should be confident when engaging young people and ideally have experience working with children who have additional needs, are neurodiverse, disabled and/or have complex needs.
Some singing and musical ability is advantageous, as is puppetry/object manipulation and basic Makaton, so please make all and any multiskills clear in your application, though none of these are essential.
