NETHERLANDS: actors (m/f) 18-30 Dutch spkrs, for short film in Amsterdam [E]

For a student short film to be directed by Indya Suer.

Period of shooting: 5, 6, 7, 8 May.
Preparation days: 3 / 4 days in the week of April 26.

The film features two protagonists; Yuna and Nike, who have a fledgling love affair. The story takes place in a multi-room apartment, as each room symbolizes the protagonists’ state of mind. In the film it will seem as if we are shooting in a ’one take’, without a cut, but we manipulate this by making a quick camera movement between the rooms. The film also plays in an infinite loop, so that the story repeats itself endlessly, we do this by sketching the pattern in which our characters find themselves.

Filmmaker’s note: ”The themes of this film are fear of commitment and separation, since we as filmmakers experience these problems in our personal lives and often do not feel understood in this. This also motivates us to make a short film about this.”
