Casting actors and featured extras for the feature film ”From Reel to Real: The Yod’s Journey,” directed by Victor Vegan. The film will be shot primarily in English and partly in Spanish.

Synopsis: Born from the union of a woman from Toledo, Spain, and an Englishman with Moroccan roots, Hannah is a mosaic of cultures. One day, an untitled videotape catapults her into an initiatory adventure. The shadow of a hooded man, whose voice resonates with ancient mysteries, leads her on a journey of self-discovery. Among the yellowed pages of forgotten texts and the enigmatic symbols of the Order of Yod, Hannah finds herself exploring the depths of Kabbalah and Sufism, in search of an identity that transcends labels and origins. The quest for knowledge and the fight against intolerance, as described by the hooded man in the videotape, resonate deeply with Hannah. There is something in his story and philosophy that touches her profoundly. In that moment, Hannah realizes an unexpected connection between her Spanish heritage and these ancient mystical traditions. Driven by curiosity and the desire to delve deeper, she embarks on a journey to Toledo, her mother’s hometown, to uncover the mysteries of her family’s past and the secrets of the Order of Yod.

Filming in Turin on Fridays from March to June 2025.

Auditions on 20th of December 2024 in Turin at 'Dar Al Hikma' Cultural Center.
