about the project

For a no-budget short film in English titled 'Speak' (genre: Drama).

Synopsis: Mary, a young woman who still lives with her immigrant mother and abusive father, tries to enjoy her early 20s with her friend, Henriette. One day, a late arrival home triggers memories of past punishments: She has to pray for forgiveness, naked. Mary's repressed emotions become overwhelming. She confides in Henriette, who shares her own experiences and encourages Mary to speak up.

Shooting in Berlin on 23.09., 24.09., 30.09., 01.10. 

Since this is a no-budget project, no fee can be paid. However all expenses will be covered. Of course there will be catering.
