LOGLINE:  Enslaved captive Haitham attempts to commune with inmates foreign to one another if he’s to survive under the flag of their slavers.

SYNOPSIS: Under the deck of a moving ship, we’re following the traces of an enslaved inmate, HAITHAM. He lives under the mercy of mysterious, brutal guards along with other foreign inmates, DAICHI and ACHAK. Self-centered Haitham attempts to escape whenever the guards leave, finding ways by himself to break free with what he knows – but at each failure of breaking
his lock, his hope sinks further. Until comes a point when the slavers capture one more for their collection – CALDER, a Dane
of sort who inclines Haitham to step away from his independant deeds and to start looking to the inmates. With the slavers routinely passing by their chamber, the mistreated Haitham finds himself gaining empathy by Achak, inciting an interest for each other. The interest translates to Daichi, who has only given silent energy to the chamber. Calder, who Haithm finds to be the
hardest to pierce an understanding through due to the Dane’s busy anger towards the slavers that pass by. This incites Haitham an idea. Haitham starts humming as he habitually does, becoming a nuisance for the guard to approach. The guard’s whipping overwhelms Haitham – but it’s the price to pay for Calder to manage to grab the guard and knock him unconscious. A key drops before the captives, reaching Haitham’s grasp. In a moment of decision, Haitham hastens to free the rest of them. And with them freed and united for a good moment, the chamber becomes a center of attention, getting the guards to
reach them…
