For a dark comedy drama written by Annabel Chadwick and directed by Mariella Hudson, director with 7 years of film & theatre experience.
Logline for film: ”Josie and Mike/Barney go on a hike, and Josie’s ready to propose – until her plan is thwarted when she becomes convinced a sheep is her dead brother.”
Unpaid role with full expenses covered, including travel between rehearsals (in London) and between London and Horton in Ribblesdale in Yorkshire (our shoot location), plus accommodation in cottages at our shoot location, and meals.
Rehearsals will be arranged around everyone’s availability over the course of September, and the shoot will be early October (exact dates tbc), 1 day of on-set rehearsal and 2 days shooting.

Mike is a sparky, adventurous man whose hidden depths and maturity become apparent when he has to support his partner navigate her grief in a psychedelic trip on top of a mountain in the Yorkshire Dales.
The role is also open to women/people of any gender under the name of 'Barney'.
LEADING ROLE: Barney (Barney is a female/any gender version of Mike)
f / non binary, late 20s/early 30s , with a native or strong ability in a Yorkshire accent (North Yorkshire preferable). We welcome applicants from all backgrounds including global majority candidates.
PLEASE NOTE: Role includes brief intimate scenes (no nudity). Ita O'Brien's intimacy on set guidelines (https://itaobrien.com/intimacy-on-set-guidelines.html) will be implemented in our production.
