Casting for FUSE a short horror film.
Synopsis: An electrician finds himself stalked by a ghostly presence when attending a night call at an elderly woman’s house.
This is a melancholy story, wrapped in the trappings of a traditional haunted house story. It leans into familiar horror tropes, then looks to pull the rug from underneath the audience and challenge their expectations in a unique and exciting way. Estimated runtime of the short film five to eight minutes.
Shoots 15-18 March in Wales.

This is an experienced electrician just looking to get the job done and go home. He's a rough-spun everyman, experienced and practically-minded. Initially calm in the face the mysterious presence in the house, but soon forced to confront his most irrational fears. Strong Welsh or North West England regional accents encouraged.

On the surface Mrs Parsons is a lonely, slightly unusual elderly woman, simply trying to get the power back on in her home. Yet beneath that she harbours a mysterious secret, fuelled by her unwavering commitment to her ailing husband. Welsh native preferable due to location of shoot.

Mr Parsons is an elderly man, confined to a life support machine in his own home. However there's more to Mr Parsons than meets the eye. His spirit dwindles between our world and the next, appearing throughout the house in increasingly terrifying ways. This is a non-speaking role but does require an element of physicality. The ability to jog or move quickly is encouraged.
