About Dave: a 30-year old male who is doing the walk he always meant to do with his old school mate, Neville. They haven't met for 15 years.
Unlike Neville, a college lecturer, Dave has followed a more working-class route in life and is now mending and servicing central heating boilers.
He is without a partner, after a series of short-lived relationships. Straight.
