about the project
For a film project in English entitled „The Warrens – The Story that came before“.
The film is about Ed and Lorraine Warren, who most people probably know from the Conjuring horror movie. The two were America’s most famous paranormal investigators and have helped many with their work and touched many with their story. The film will of course include horror elements, but the focus will be on the story of these two people who knew from childhood, ”We are different from others,” to the point where they were married and the journey began.
The whole project is a low budget production, but we hope to get film funding or alternatively start crowd funding.
Unfortunately we can’t pay you at the moment but travel costs will of course be covered and catering will be provided.
An image film/teaser will be shot in February/March 2022 in NRW/RLP to introduce the project.
The aim is to release the film on Amazon Prime.
ABOUT US
We are Tahlia, Max, and Annika. We are passionate artists, very creative; good cooperation and fun at work is very important to us.
Tahlia comes from Switzerland and is currently studying to be a writer. Max is doing a study in media design, he has already produced some short films and has been in front of the camera. Annika is a trained actress and has already participated in several projects on stage and in front of the camera. She also gave classes in singing and dancing & had experience as author.

Appearance: Dark brown, short hair. Blue/gray eyes. Approx: 1.84m tall.
Must speak English.
His character is loving, devoted, helpful and sometimes has a snappy saying. His love for Lorraine, whom he met at the age of 17, is endless, he only has eyes for her and next to her he could forget the world. The thought of her keeps him alive during his time in the U.S. Navy and he would die for her. Both had paranormal experiences as children, but no one believed them until they finally found each other. The two married at an early age and had a daughter together. Later they help people who have had similar experiences (paranormal experiences).
It is important to us that the familiarity and strong bond that the two have since day one comes across well, which is why we are looking for someone who can take the time to build a bond with our Lorraine, that this feeling will be tangible and palpable in the film.
IMPORTANT: since there will be a water scene in which we show the accident that Ed had experienced on a Navy ship, it would be important that you are fit in the water. But of course there will be a lifeguard and paramedic on location for that scene.
