about the project
For an independent feature film of writer-director Jethro Massey, whose short films have been awarded numerous prizes around the world for their aesthetics, originality and dark humour.
Shooting for 6 weeks in Paris, with some scenes in Germany, in summer 2022.
This is a self-financed film, with a minimal budget already in place. All key cast and crew will be paid a token sum to cover their rent etc. and of course all expenses; travel, food and lodging in Germany will also be covered.

The character is a 30-year-old woman struggling to find balance after a break-up with her girlfriend. Paulette tries to come to terms with her difficult past through a wicked game that she plays with her new English friend Paul; exploring the banality of evil and trying to touch history at the sites of some of Europe's most notorious crimes.
We are not casting for any particular physical traits. Paulette is a character who is drawn to the spotlight, someone who can't sit still, who has to touch the world; a whirlwind of ideas and energy that are perhaps designed to distract from the nightmares that lurk within her.
