about the project
Vienna’s international, predominantly English-speaking theatre company 'Open House Theatre' seeks a range of performers for productions coming up in autumn/winter 2023 and beyond.
We are particularly interested in meeting people who are new to Vienna, those who we haven´t seen or worked with previously, and artists from diverse backgrounds. All ages, ethnic and gender identities are welcome.
Singers, instrumentalists, comedians, dancers, clowns, circus artists and actor-musicians are also encouraged to apply.
Who We Are:
Open House Theatre is an independent, self-funded company that has been bringing English-language theatre to Viennese audiences for more than 10 years.
What We Do:
We present a mix of period and modern classics, live music, comedy revue and we are the official European representatives of "A Drinking Game", the international live-cinema inebriation experience.
What We Offer:
We pride ourselves on providing a professional and fun atmosphere, and the consistently high artistic value of our productions. All artists are paid a standard off-theatre wage, in line with local industry norms.
