il progetto

Felix and Marta broke up. Now the only thing left to do is to help her move her stuff from their shared flat in Berlin to her new place in Poland. But it feels weird to just leave, casually, like the past 5 years didn’t really happen, so they sit down, to have one last talk about the good, the bad and the ugly of their relationship. Is there anyone to blame? Or are they just two beautiful puzzles but not from the same box?

Directed by Hania Pikulska, the aim with this film is to script a satisfying and meaningful break up, one that people rarely get in real life, where emotions run high and resentment is usually already deeply ingrained before they even say their final goodbyes. Apart from being cheap therapy, it explores the topics of international relationships as well as what it means to appreciate someone you know you will never really understand.

Shooting dates: 7-11 June
Location: Szczecin, Poland
Paid role with travel and accommodation included.
A collaboration with Panavision Poland.

FELIX

Felix is German.

For a person so scared of change, Marta ending the relationship came as a shock to him. Sensitive and easily sucked into comfort, he has an intense need to feel special. Through the “break up” he learns that maybe he doesn’t need to employ another person to maintain his emotions for him and can “feel special” just by respecting himself.
ruolo 2 | attori | femmina
età scenica:23 - 27
lingue dei ruoli: Inglese/Polacco
MARTA

Marta is Polish. After years of being agreeable she finally put her foot down and broke up with Felix. A person rarely driven by her emotions, she prefers to intellectualise and rationalise than to simply feel. Through the “break up” she learns how to feel anger, sadness, disappointment and happiness - emotions she denied herself for way too long.
