ENGLAND: actors (m/f) 18-99 English spkrs, for short film in Leeds [E]

We’re a team of third-year film students looking to cast actors for our final year film, ‘An Accusation’.

The film premise centres on a police investigation into a murder that occurs in a park on a dark night. One woman bears witness to the crime, but due to improper interrogation techniques carried out by the investigators, she falsely identifies a young man to be the culprit involved.

The film is meant to be a commentary on the unreliability of eyewitness testimony and the harm that leading questions can cause when utilised in an interrogation.

We are looking to film the actual short in mid-February 2023 in Leeds.

Before that, the actors will practise their dialogue and rehearse with us both online and offline. some ages and appearances can be adapted and altered.

Although this is unpaid work, we will cover travel expenses and provide food/drink on the day as well as provide you with a copy of the finished film.
