about the project
Casting male actors for our cinematic no-budget short film called „The Magic Trick“. This is a thriller that explores the dangers of trusting strangers in the middle of the night.
Synopsis: In the middle of the night, a young girl, isolated after a party and a fight with her mom, finds herself alone at a bus station with a dead phone battery. It’s cold and there is no bus in her sight. Desperate, she accepts a ride from a creepy stranger. What starts as a seemingly normal ride takes a dark turn when the driver insists on performing a "magic trick." The trick becomes horrifying as the driver intentionally hits and kills a pedestrian, leaving the girl in shock. After numerous failed attempts to escape, the driver finally releases her in the middle of nowhere. She believes she's escaped, only to discover she's the next victim of the twisted magic trick, sealing her tragic fate.
1-2 days filming on a weekend in February or March 2024 (exact dates TBC)
Because it’s a no-budget short film, there is no payment. But lots of fun and free food is guaranteed. You can also use it for your own portfolio.

About the character: Todd is a psychopath and a creepy driver, who loves to perform his dark and twisted magic tricks to strangers who accept a ride,that ends up deadly.
