Synopsis: After his brother’s death, the devastated Chris discovers that he has the ability to rewind time by taking someone’s life. Faced with a haunting moral dilemma, he must decide: Is it worth sacrificing a life to spend one more day with his brother, even if it’s one filled with cruelty and torment?

In a deserted, dimly lit street, a terrified VICTIM races from his knife-wielding CHASER, until cornered. Facing death, the victim’s desperate inquiry about the chaser’s motive unfolds a surreal tale. Through flashbacks, we’re introduced to Chris, a lonely young man spiraling into darkness after losing his cherished older brother due to a horrible illness. However, after a gruesome, accidental death caused by Chris, he is transported back in time to when his brother was still alive, giving him the chance to enjoy precious moments with him once again. Yet, this newfound power comes at a sinister cost: taking someone’s life is the trigger to activate his time-reversing ability. Each life Chris takes to get back his brother’s life drags him deeper into a moral abyss, morphing him into the cold-blooded CHASER. When Chris finally finishes his story and is ready to commit another murder, a fight ensues between the current victim and Chris just as police sirens wail closer. But alongside the police comes his brother trying to stop this terrible cycle of death and suffering caused by Chris. 

Shooting between 20 November – 3 December, in Breda and surroundings (exact dates TBD with the actors).

About us: We are a small student production team with an ambitious vision. Our project will air at the BUas Film Festival, on the Breda Pathe Cinema’s screen, with the potential to be sent to multiple film festivals.

Our team consists of a dedicated producer, a director, who also has 3 years of sound design experience, a DOP who has been working on videography and photography projects for over 3 years, and an editor who has been in the industry for 8 years. On top of that, we collaborate with alumna who have won the ”Best Sound Design” award at last year’s BUas Film Festival, and the ”Best Student Short” at Pure Magic Film Festival.

This is one of the biggest projects of our careers and we are here to make it our best.

On offer: We offer catering service on set, the opportunity to work on the dark horse project of our university year, and have your performance shown in front of at least 900 people at the BUas Film Festival.
