
The young artist Ștefan Linu was born in Romania, and is a graduate of the Conservatory in Iași, with Bachelor's and Master's studies. Later, he refined his vocal technique and acting skills with the legendary Grace Bumbry, Andrei Serban, Alfio Grasso, Horiana Brănișteanu and Carlos Chausson, and became involved in numerous artistic endeavors across Europe.
Moreover, Stefan filmed for Las Fierbinți, a popular TV series in Romania, and appeared in various sports commercials. He has also recorded characters for video games and has done voice-over work for theatrical performances.
In recent seasons, Ștefan Linu was invited to the 4 Arts Festival in Câmpina, Classix Festival in Iași and he made appearances in concerts and performances in venues such as the Van Westerhout Theatre in Mola di Bari, the Béla Bartók Memorial House in Budapest, the Neue Akropolis Philosophers Center in Salzburg, and on the stages of the Romanian National Operas in Iași and Bucharest. He is a collaborator of the Luxembourg Philharmonic, and since 2012, he is an opera artist with the Romanian National Opera in Iași, while also managing his own productions. In December 2023, he concluded his Artistic Residency in Oslo, Kingdom of Norway, with the project Lied performances. In between intimacy and entertainment. Notably, he performed at Gamle Raadhus Scene and the Romanian Embassy in Oslo, and on December 13, 2023, he also performed a show recital of Romanian and Norwegian Christmas carols titled Norwegian and Romanian Christmas Tunes alongside pianist Grace Jee Eun Oh at the Romanian Embassy in Oslo.
