This is a summary of the rules for using the enCAST website. By using the site, you agree to follow these rules.
If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the site.
Who Can Use the Site #
- You must be 18 or older to use the site on your own.
- If you are 16 or 17, you may only use the site with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian, who must be involved when you apply to castings and be available for us to contact.
- No one under 16 years old is allowed to have a profile or apply for jobs.
- We may ask for proof of age or of a parent's or guardian's permission, and we may close accounts that break these rules.
Your Account #
- When you join, you get a username and password. Keep them private.
- If someone else gets access to your account, let us know quickly.
- We may block your account if we think someone else is using it without permission.
- You can only delete your account after your subscription is cancelled. Any paid time you have left is lost when you delete, and is not refunded, except within the first 14 days as described below.
Subscriptions, Payments and Refunds #
Basic site use is free. You can subscribe to get extra features.
Payments are handled securely by our payment partners:
- If you are in the EU, payment is taken by Stripe on our behalf.
- Everywhere else, you buy from Paddle, who act as the seller.
We never see or store your card details.
Subscriptions renew automatically. This is clearly shown on the payment page. You can stop your renewal at any time from your profile (Edit Profile, then the Account tab, then Your Subscription), and you keep your benefits until the end of the period you paid for. How to cancel.
Changing Your Mind (14 Days) #
If you subscribe, you have 14 days from your first payment to change your mind and get a refund. You do not need to give a reason.
This is different from cancelling in your profile. Cancelling in your profile stops your next payment but does not refund anything. To get a refund, use our Refund Request form within 14 days of your first payment. The day you send the form is the day that counts.
When you subscribed, you asked us to give you full access straight away. This means:
- We keep only the amount for the days between your first payment and the day you send the form.
- We refund the rest. No fee is deducted.
- If you did not ask us to start straight away, we refund the full amount.
We stop your subscription for you as part of the refund. We will send your refund within 14 days of your request, using the same payment method you paid with.
After the first 14 days, payments are not refunded, but you can still stop your renewal as described above.
You may also withdraw using the standard EU form below. Send it through the Refund Request form or to admin@encast.pro. It carries no more weight than the form itself, but you are entitled to use it.
To arathra OÜ, Sepapaja tn 6, 15551 Tallinn, Estonia, admin@encast.pro:

Copyright and Your Content #
- enCAST owns the content it creates on the site. You own the copyright to your materials.
- So that the site can work, you give us permission to show, copy, resize, and share the content you upload. We use this permission only to run the site, promote the site and its members, and connect you with casting opportunities.
- We follow your privacy settings. Content you mark as PRIVATE is not shown publicly.
- This permission ends when you delete your content or your profile. However, copies may remain for a time in search engines, in caches, and in social media posts already published.
- You must have permission to upload any content (photos, videos, audio, etc.).
- If you upload something you do not have the right to, you are responsible, not enCAST.
- We can remove anything that breaks our rules.
Linking to enCAST #
- You can link to enCAST if it is done fairly and legally.
- You cannot suggest enCAST supports you unless we say so.
- We can remove linking permission at any time.
Third-Party Links #
- Sometimes we link to other websites.
- We do not control these sites and are not responsible for their content.
- The content is for general information only.
- Do not make decisions based only on what you read here.
- We try to keep information up-to-date, but we cannot guarantee it is always correct.
- Our help chatbot gives automatic answers. They are usually helpful but can be wrong. If a chatbot answer and these terms disagree, these terms apply.
The ACRM #
The ACRM is provided as a personal tool for managing your own professional contacts. You are responsible for the lawfulness of the contact information you store in it, and enCAST acts only as the storage provider for that data. Your encrypted notes are locked with a key only you hold: if you lose your recovery phrase and are signed out of all your devices, those notes cannot be recovered by anyone, including us. How your ACRM data is handled is described in our Privacy Policy.
Our Responsibility #
enCAST is not responsible for:
- Loss of income or business
- Computer viruses or problems caused by the site or linked websites
- Any damage caused by using the site
Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility where the law does not allow it to be limited, for example if we cause harm deliberately or through gross negligence.
Which Law Applies #
These terms are governed by the law of Estonia, and disputes go to the Estonian courts.
If you are a consumer in the EU, you also keep the protections of the law of the country you live in, and you may bring a dispute in your own country's courts.
If you are a consumer and we cannot solve a disagreement together, you can also contact the Estonian Consumer Disputes Committee (komisjon.ee).
