Logline: Two lost souls — a man too early and a woman too late — haunt each other as their passages through town turn into a mutual pursuit where the more they search, the less they find.
Synopsis: A man visiting a small town in Sicily for unknown reasons mixes up the dates of his return flight and meets a mysterious woman on his final day. A woman from the same town returning home for the anniversary of her deceased husband discovers she is too late and gets visited by a familiar spirit. Both venture into town without a plan or purpose; the tourist passing the sites of the town's past, and the local those of her own history. They become aware of each other's presence — or rather, each other's absence — as they always seem to just miss one another.
Shoot dates: 20–26 September 2026. Approximately 3–4 days on set required.
Location: Castellammare del Golfo, Sicily.
Compensation: €50/day, excluding expenses and accommodation.
The short is competing in CICI's Film Festival in Castellammare del Golfo, Sicily.

ROLE: Donna
f, 23-37, speaking fluent Italian (plus some English for communication with the Productionita), preferably a Sicilian actress.
Donna is a woman caught between grief and denial. Donna has returned to a small coastal town in Sicily looking for her husband, convinced that she has arrived on the anniversary of his death, only to discover that she is too late.
Warm, sensitive, and intuitive, Donna nevertheless carries something slightly unsettling about her. She moves through the town as though following memories that don't quite belong to the present. She doesn't fully understand what is happening to her, but instinctively knows that something is wrong.
The role requires an actress who can convey emotion and vulnerability with restraint, rather than relying on overt expressions of grief.
The actress will be selected through self-tapes.
