Maris Vasenius is a Finnish actor with a background spanning theatre, screen work, and classical vocal training. She has trained in acting and improvisation and performed with Shazam Theatre Company in the UK, in addition to appearing in commercial and background roles for various productions.
Maris began performing at a young age, studying classical singing at Espoo Music Institute and later training in show jazz and performance. Her early foundation in movement and voice continues to inform her screen presence, which is marked by control, nuance, and emotional precision.
Alongside her artistic career, Maris is completing a Master’s degree in Neuroscience. Her academic background has deepened her interest in complex, psychologically layered characters and informs her analytical yet intuitive approach to role preparation.
