About Me

Scott Sophos is a seasoned actor with over 40 years of professional experience across stage, screen, and voice. A dual U.S./U.K. citizen based in Prague, Scott's career has spanned continents, with notable work in the United States, the United Kingdom, and the Czech Republic.
He was an Opening Cast Member at Universal Studios Florida and has performed professionally in Atlanta, Orlando, Washington, D.C., as well as throughout the U.K. and Prague. His extensive stage credits include the Southeastern premiere of The Baltimore Waltz by Paula Vogel at Theatre Downtown Orlando, appearances with Orlando Shakespeare Theatre, and the Washington, D.C. premiere of David Dillon's Party. He has also performed at The Shakespeare Theatre, Round House Theatre, and Arena Stage, among others. For over 15 years, Scott was a main cast member of both the Georgia and Maryland Renaissance Festivals.
In the U.K., his work includes voice acting for Frequency Theatre, a performance in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and winning the 2011 North Essex Theatre Award for Best Panto Dame.
Currently, Scott is active in Prague’s vibrant theatre and film scene, performing regularly with Prague Shakespeare Company and The Mad and Merry Men. His screen credits include Knight Fall, Carnival Row, John Carpenter’s Suburban Screams, as well as a wide range of short films, independent projects, and commercials.
His performance in the short film The New Cardinal earned him the 2024 Best Actor Award at Nigeria’s Ibadan International Film Festival.
