I am Cristo Nobel, British-Mexican-born actor with skills in Film Production, Cinematographer, based in the UK. I am a Mexican native who spent most of my grown-up years in the United Kingdom. At the age of 21, I went to Belgium, France, and The United Kingdom as an exchange student where I did my studies for years. I also went to The Leeds Metropolitan University where I studied Creative Media and Film Production. It was a big leap to move to the UK where I worked professionally for several years. Nowadays I am a Londoner, London is where I am established. As a child, my studies always introduced me to actors, directors, acting coaches and models, and movies from which I now draw my inspirations. My all-time hero is Sir Alfred Hitchcock whom I like to call: The father of Suspense and Thrillers has been an inspiring figure since childhood; also, most of my early inspirations came from Film Directors, I am an advocate of intense drama and psychological thrillers. Dustin Hoffman, Sir Philip Anthony Hopkins, and Sir Sean Connery are the reason I love the world of cinema and acting. Then came on Joaquin Phoenix, Benicio Del Toro and directors like Guillermo del Toro and Alejandro González Iñárritu whom I have looked up to over the years.
Also as a Casting Director, I help actors with representation and the tools necessary to develop a career in Film and TV. I assist the actor in being confident to create and develop talents in a supportive environment where no one is afraid to take a risk but can challenge themselves and reach their full potential as actors, getting actors ready for their life-changing experience. All in all, I have had quite an adventurous and unique journey as an Actor and Cinematographer. I have learned tremendously, and grown mature, fearless, and dedicated to what keeps me up and going every single day. Always looking for the opportunity to prove myself and show what I can do.
