About Me
My name is Samantha Sánchez and I am a Spanish young girl who is willing to be able to show the world what my passion has always been: acting.
I was born in Granada (Andalucía) and grew up in Menorca (Balearic Islands), where my parents still live. When I was 17 I decided moving to Barcelona, where I studied Translation and Interpreting (English and German into Spanish and Catalan) while I was working as a waitress in an events catering and a luxury hotel (Hotel Arts, Barcelona). During this time, I took 3 months in Durham (England) as an Erasmus student and 3 months (summer) in Potsdam, Germany, improving my German while working.
When I finished my studies, I took a Master\'s degree as an English teacher while I had some contact with French. After that, I worked as a teacher, coordinator and sporadic director in an English academy in Cornellà, Barcelona, but I had a voice inside telling me that I could not ignore that dream I had had since I was 9 years old: I needed to fight for becoming an actress. Thus, I started taking some courses in acting for the camera and, in 2018, I moved to Madrid, where I am still studying.
Here, I am improving my acting skills while having some contacts with the working world as an actress (see CV) and while teaching English to kids. I consider myself a responsable, hard-worker, fervent and constant person who can achieve the objectives if those are (for me) important enough. I am charismatic, energetic and persistant person, used to working while studying and used to struggle for my passions against any inconvenient.
I am looking forward to having the chance to show the world what I have inside.
