About Me
Walter Maria Lancellotti, born in 1998, last millennium – in fact, afflicted with Golden Age syndrome. I’m from Lamezia Terme, Calabria, but I’ve been living outside the region for almost ten years: I’ve lived in Dublin, Ferrara, Valencia, and for the past seven years in Rome, where I work as an actor.
I have a university background, with a double degree and a master’s in Languages and Literatures, Spanish and English, and since 2021 I decided to completely change my life, stepping away from the safest path to systematically dedicate myself to acting. I attended an academy for a year, and then continued my training through courses, workshops, and masterclasses all over Italy. Over time, my first jobs arrived, in theater, television, and cinema.
I love music; singing for me is like breathing – even though I’ve never formally studied it – I write songs and accompany myself with a few guitar chords. My other great passion is sport, especially football: I’m a huge fan of Vigor Lamezia, my mother, and Atalanta, my wife.
I’m a Gemini, so moody and changeable. Introverted by nature, but outgoing when I feel safe. Easily embarrassed, bright, sensitive, responsible, but quick to complain. I spend most of my time thinking, locked in my own mind, and imagining hypothetical scenarios, mixing past and future, seldom the present. I often feel like a narrator, and too rarely a character; horizontal in a society that expects us all to be vertical. I love silence, and I firmly believe it communicates more than many words.
