About Me
Harun Ćehović was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina on 29th July 1998. After finishing primary school in Sarajevo where he was Best academic student he went to Seattle, Washington State, US, for further High school education on Youth Leadership Program. There he received the award for Best Participant at the Youth Leadership Program which was funded by US State Department after that he received a scholarship to Bedford School, UK, from 2015 to 2017. While there he passed L.A.M.D.A acting performance examination levels 5, 6 and 7 with distinction, being the only non-native English speaker passing with distinction. He finished his high school education doing IB program with the prediction of 42 out of 45 points being in top 10% of all IB students worldwide. While living in UK he performed in professional productions at Soho Theater London and Quarry Theater Bedford, including Mickey in “Mojo”, Handle in “Coram Boy”, Doctor in “Adaptation of Macbeth” and Les in “Bouncers” for which he received the best actor award in the Bedford Comedy Festival in 2016. In this role he also represented his school at the Youth Comedy Festival in New York in 2016. While in the UK and USA Harun participated in several workshops including; Physical Theater workshop in 2017, Method Acting workshop that was sponsored by NYU and presented by Kathryn K in 2016, ''Moving body''workshop by Branko Potočar, ''Contemporary Dance'' workshop by Amila Terzimehić etc. In 2017 he enrolled at Academy of Preforming Arts in Sarajevo for a BA degree in acting under the supervision of Admir Glamočak. At the moment he finished studying 4th year there and he was announced as the best student of acting at the Academy of Preforming Arts in Sarajevo for . His average grade is 9.4 out of 10 and therefore he is in top 3% of all students in University of Sarajevo. In 2020 he got the role in a play called ''Veliki Diktator'' in National Theater in Sarajevo and play ''Hoćemo li više'' in ''Altteatar Sarajevo''; these plays were directed by Admir Glamočak. Same year he played the main role in a short movie “Two figures in the river” which was directed by Lucas Grevis. That movie was accepted to several film festivals including Sarajevo Film Festival and Paris Film Festival. In the 2020. Harun got accepted to five different drama schools and universities in United Kingdom and US. He got accepted to study Master program in Acting and two out of those five schools were ranked in top 10 drama schools in the world for 2019. Harun is skilled in several sports including skiing, swimming, basketball, acrobatics, horse riding and judo and he is fluent in Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian, English (this is considered as his native language as he finished high school in US and England) and he is well-skilled in German language.
