Boost Your Profile and Get Seen
On enCAST, you can boost your profile to get extra visibility. We post your photo, name, country and mini bio on enCAST's own social media accounts, with a link to your profile, so more people can discover you.
We post on X, Instagram, Facebook, Bluesky and Threads. Casting directors, producers and other creatives follow these accounts, and the post links straight through to your enCAST profile.
Who can boost #
The Boost page is only available to Pro Actors. Before you can boost, your profile needs:
- A main photo. This is the photo we post. Your main photo is the first one in your photo list on Edit Profile.
- A mini bio. This short text appears with the photo.
- Profile visibility set to everyone, because the post links to your profile.
Getting tagged #
If you add your Instagram, Facebook, X or Bluesky handle in the Extra Info tab of Edit Profile, we tag you in the post on that channel. Your Instagram name is also used for Threads. If you have no handles in Extra Info but you have a link to your social media page in your Links list, we take the handle from there.
How to boost your profile #
Go to the Boost page. It shows you the post as it will appear. If it looks right, click the button. The post goes out straight away, without a confirm email, because you pressed the button yourself.
You can boost more than once, but we space boosts out so everyone gets a fair chance to be featured. You can boost about once a month. The Boost page tells you when your last boost was.
Other posts about you #
We also like to post when you join Pro, when your profile is verified, and on your birthday if you are a Pro member. For those posts we ask you first by email, unless you have ticked the box in Extra Info that lets us post automatically. See enCAST Social Media Posts About You.
Removing a post #
A post stays on our channels after it goes out. If you want one taken down, send us a message with your profile name and, if you have it, the link to the post. Removing a post does not affect your enCAST profile.
