We are incredibly excited here at enCAST. In the next couple of weeks we’ll be announcing the full details for the upcoming, and very first, enCAST Pan-European Short Film Competition.
Simply put it’s a short film competition open to absolutely anyone living in Europe (remember, that includes inside and outside the EU so the UK, Norway, Ukraine and so on are all included).
And they’ll be prizes, too.
Right now, the main categories will be
- Best Film (critics’ choice)
- Best Film (people’s choice)
- Best Actor(s)
And so far the main rules are:
- max 5 minutes long
- all actors must have a profile on enCAST (don’t forget, it’s free and if you don’t have one yet vous pouvez vous inscrire ici)
- any genre, any subject
- each team must live in Europe (for a full list of countries, voir ici)
You can film on your €100 smartphone or your €100,000 ARRI. You can have a cast & crew of hundreds or you can make it on your own.
Et bien sûr, le agréable thing is that everyone who enters will be entitled to an IMDb entry so if your IMDb profile is a little sparse, here’s a simple way to boost it up!
