Bridges of Sarajevo

A collection of short films from thirteen European directors, each using the city of Sarajevo and its bridges as a starting point to reflect on themes of conflict, memory, division, and European identity, commissioned to mark the centenary of the First World War. The individual segments vary widely in style and approach, ranging from documentary to fiction, and together form a fragmented portrait of a continent still grappling with the consequences of the violence that began in that city in 1914.
