A young woman travels to a remote farmhouse to care for her elderly, bedridden grandfather, only to discover that her uncle has been keeping a woman captive there and has developed a disturbing, controlling relationship with her. As the dynamics of power, faith, and isolation play out within the household, the visiting granddaughter struggles to understand and respond to the deeply unsettling situation she has stumbled into.
