A space shuttle mission goes disastrously wrong when the crew find themselves pulled through some form of dimensional rift or anomaly, leaving them stranded in an unfamiliar and hostile environment. The surviving astronauts must struggle to understand what has happened to them and find a way back, facing both physical dangers and psychological strain.
