A woman searches for her daughter who has gone missing after spending time with her estranged father, only to discover that the basement of his workplace — a tanning salon — harbours a deeply sinister and supernatural presence that feeds on human beings. As she digs deeper into the darkness, she finds herself drawn into a nightmarish struggle against a malevolent entity that has already claimed those around her.
