A young woman with a degenerative neurological disease flees across the country whilst being pursued by an FBI agent who is herself battling multiple sclerosis. As both women's conditions deteriorate, their paths slowly converge, revealing a deeper connection between them. The film interweaves their parallel struggles with illness and survival against a bleak Pacific Northwest landscape.
