A Spanish couple relocating to the United States are pulled aside at a Miami airport for an intense secondary inspection by immigration officers. Confined in a holding room alongside other travellers from various countries, they face increasingly invasive questioning about their personal lives, finances, and relationship. The ordeal exposes tensions within the couple as the bureaucratic process strips away their sense of control and dignity.
