A nine-year-old girl with severe behavioural difficulties proves impossible to place within Germany's child welfare system, cycling through foster homes, therapeutic facilities and crisis interventions as carers struggle to reach her. Beneath her explosive, self-destructive rage lies a desperate longing to be reunited with her mother, who is unable to cope with her. A dedicated anti-aggression trainer attempts to form a genuine connection with the girl, offering a brief glimmer of hope in an otherwise bleak portrait of a child falling through the cracks.
