A quiet German bank teller with an obsessive passion for safecracking is recruited by a mysterious woman into an audacious heist crew targeting a series of legendary, supposedly uncrackable safes across Europe. Set before the events of *Army of the Dead*, the film follows Ludwig Dieter and his ragtag team as they race to crack the mythical Wagner safe trilogy whilst staying one step ahead of an Interpol agent closing in on them.
