A fictional near-future Denmark faces an environmental catastrophe so severe that the entire population must be evacuated and resettled abroad. The series follows several families as they are separated, displaced, and forced to rebuild their lives and relationships in unfamiliar countries across Europe. Through their struggles with identity, belonging, and loss, the show examines what truly holds families and communities together when everything familiar is stripped away.
