The Nun
There have been several films titled *The Nun*, so without a director or year it is difficult to pinpoint which one is intended. The most widely known is the 2018 instalment from the *Conjuring* universe, directed by Corin Hardy, in which a Vatican priest and a novitiate travel to a remote Romanian convent to investigate a young nun's apparent suicide. They soon discover the monastery is haunted by a malevolent demonic entity that takes the form of a nun, and must battle to prevent it from possessing one of them and spreading its evil beyond the convent walls.
