A widowed former journalist, Jake Bohm, struggles to connect with his mute young son Martin, who seems to communicate through sequences of numbers rather than words. Jake gradually realises that these numerical patterns link seemingly unrelated people across the globe in profound ways, hinting that Martin possesses an extraordinary gift for perceiving hidden connections in the universe. Each episode follows the ripple effects of these numbers as lives intersect across different countries and circumstances, with Jake acting as the human bridge between his son's visions and the outside world.
