The criminal underworld, fearing a crackdown on their own operations, launches a parallel hunt to track down the perpetrator before the authorities do. The production is a modern Austrian reimagining of Fritz Lang's 1931 classic, transplanting its themes of mob justice, institutional failure, and public hysteria into a contemporary urban setting.
