Romeo È Giulietta
Directed by Giovanni Veronesi (2023)
A struggling theatre director, unable to secure funding or cast for a new production of Romeo and Juliet, finds an unexpected solution when a male actor is persuaded to take on the role of Juliet in disguise. As rehearsals progress and the deception deepens, romantic and comic complications arise both on and off the stage, blurring the lines between performance and real life.
