A romantically involved couple discover that their respective families have secretly arranged for each other's former partners to attend their upcoming wedding, causing chaos and complications. The resulting misunderstandings and rekindled feelings force everyone involved to question whether they are truly with the right person. The film is a broad Italian comedy built around mistaken intentions, family meddling, and the confusion of love.
