All Rise
Directed by Pete Chatmon
A Los Angeles courtroom drama centring on newly appointed judge Lola Carmichael, an idealistic former public defender who brings an unconventional, empathetic approach to her role on the bench. She navigates the pressures of the justice system alongside prosecutors, defence attorneys, and court staff, many of whom she knew before her elevation to the judiciary. The series examines individual cases whilst exploring the personal and professional lives of those working within and around the court.
