Agata e la tempesta

Directed by S. Soldini (2003)

A middle-aged Italian woman named Agata runs a bookshop and finds her comfortable, settled life thrown into turmoil when she discovers she has a half-brother she never knew existed. As she navigates this unexpected family upheaval, she also becomes entangled in a passionate and complicated romance with a younger man. The film weaves together themes of love, identity, and the unpredictable nature of human connection through a warm, ensemble-driven narrative.
